Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment

General Information (for all incentive levels)

EV charging installations require a dedicated circuit.  Separate invoices providing a detailed list of EV charging equipment and electric service installation required with rebate application.  NRPPD matching fund verification required with rebate application.  NRPPD must verify installation of charging equipment.

Limit one rebate per consumer account per year.

If collected, charge session data should be available upon request and shall include the following:

Time and date.

Charge duration.

Energy delivered in kWh.

Cost recovered in $0.00.

Incentive – Level 2 (without charge session data collection capability)

     Eligibility includes:
          Residential.
          Commercial (private/not for resale).
          Public (no fees for energy).

    Tri-State will match member rebate up to $500:
          50% match of EV charging equipment up to $250.
          50% match of electric service installation up to $250.

Incentive – Level 2 (with charge session data collection capability)

     Public accessible installations only.

     50% match of EV charging equipment and electric service installation up to $1,000.

     EV charging equipment is required to be able to track charge session data.

Incentive – Level 3, DC Fast Charge (with charge session data collection capability)

     Public accessible installations only.

     50% match of EV charging equipment and electric service installation up to $3,000.

     EV charging equipment is required to be able to track charge session data.
